Sharjah Prepares for IGCF 2023 with High-Impact Training Programs

The countdown to the 13th edition of the International Government Communication Forum (IGCF 2023) has begun, with the event scheduled for September 4-5. The Sharjah Government Media Bureau, alongside national and international partners, is rolling out five pre-forum training programs to enhance skills in communication and media for young students and professionals.
Under the theme 'Agile Governments... Innovative Communication,' the pre-forum training sessions, running from August 26 to September 5, cover advanced topics like AI, the Metaverse, and digital media production. Notable workshops include sessions on starting media projects, mobile journalism, and verifying fake news, led by esteemed members of the Academic Committee for Government Communication.
New additions this year include the 'Influencer Dynamics' program in collaboration with Forbes Middle East and the 'Universities Challenge,' aimed at fostering innovation in digital content creation. The AI Skills Camp and a workshop on 'Design Thinking and the Innovation of Solutions' further bolster this comprehensive skills development initiative.
