Former US President and 2024 Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump held a campaign event in Michigan, addressing voters on key issues such as law enforcement, border security, and immigration. This coincided with the Democratic Party's national convention in Chicago.

A spokesperson for Trump's campaign posted visuals on social media showing Trump disembarking from his plane in Michigan, with Beyoncé's 'Freedom'—a song frequently used by Vice President Kamala Harris' team—playing in the background.

When reached for comment, Trump campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung responded with 'Freedom, freedom!' reflecting the audacious use of the song. The song is notably featured in a new Democratic ad and was approved for Harris' campaign by Beyoncé, who maintains strict music clearance policies.

The Democrats are convening in Chicago to formally nominate Harris for the presidential election scheduled for November 5th. In his speech in Howell, Michigan, Trump criticized Harris as the 'most radical left person' to seek high office, suggesting her policies would result in 'crime, chaos, destruction, and death.'
