Tel Aviv [Israel], August 16 (ANI/TPS): Israel's Tax Authority and Population and Immigration Authority have unveiled a collaborative task force to crack down on the employment of foreign workers without proper permits and to apprehend their employers.
This task force seeks to tackle economic crimes by focusing on three main areas: curbing tax evasion, enforcing cash law compliance, and eliminating the use of fictitious invoices.
To achieve these objectives, the team will facilitate information sharing between the two authorities, enabling civil inspections and criminal investigations. Dedicated work teams will be set up to address each of the specified goals.
