Tel Aviv [Israel], August 9 (ANI/TPS): Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday met with council heads from Judea and Samaria at the Israel Defense Forces headquarters in Tel Aviv. The discussions centered around various civilian and security needs, as well as concerns about the impact of sanctions on settlements. Netanyahu emphasized the necessity of bolstering security in Judea, Samaria, and seam line communities. He praised the IDF for its recent efforts in striking terrorist organizations, enhancing the quality of life in the region.
Netanyahu addressed the international sanctions imposed by American and European authorities against certain settlers and organizations, expressing grave concern. He stated, 'We are working to block this. It is an issue for the entire State of Israel, not just Judea and Samaria.' The council heads voiced their strong support for Netanyahu's stance on both domestic and international pressures, as well as his continued commitment to counter-terrorism efforts. They also extended their support to his family amidst ongoing challenges.
