Delhi Health Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj has confirmed that the process of creating posts for upcoming government hospitals will be completed within a week. The announcement follows a high-level meeting held at Raj Niwas to address the recruitment of doctors and specialists.

Senior officials, including Lt Governor VK Saxena and Chief Secretary Dharmendra, discussed the long-standing issue of doctor shortages in existing hospitals and the need for posts in new ones. Bharadwaj stated that hospitals nearing completion in the next one to two years will have their posts created promptly.

The post-creation process will navigate through multiple departments, including Finance, before reaching the Lt Governor for final approval. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will then handle the recruitment of doctors and specialists.
