Four sixteen-year-old girls were hospitalised after feeling uneasy following immunisation shots at a school in Madhya Pradesh's Bind district, an official reported on Friday.
The affected students, who received tetanus and diphtheria vaccines, experienced dizziness and unease post-vaccination at a government high school in Kyaripura on Thursday, according to Dr. Shivram Singh Kushwaha, the district's chief medical and health officer.
Dr. Kushwaha confirmed that the girls' conditions have improved, with one set to be discharged soon. The immunisation programme, which commenced on August 8, administered vaccines to at least 35 students the previous days. It was further noted that the girls had not eaten before receiving the shots.
