Yakult Danone India Launches New Mango Flavour Probiotic Drink

Yakult Danone India Pvt Ltd has launched a new probiotic variant, Yakult Light Mango Flavour. The launch, featuring Sanya Malhotra, aims to enhance gut health. The product, containing Lactobacillus casei Shirota, will be available nationwide and through e-commerce. It maintains the same health benefits as classic Yakult.

New Delhi, India – Yakult Danone India Pvt Ltd, a renowned probiotic brand, announced its latest product, Yakult Light Mango Flavour, on 25th July 2024. This new variant was unveiled by Bollywood star Sanya Malhotra, along with dignitaries including Takashi Ariyoshi, Minister and Deputy Chief of Mission of the Embassy of Japan in India, and Eiji Amano, Managing Director of Yakult Danone India Pvt Ltd.

The new product, a sister variant to Yakult's flagship drink, features the same probiotic, Lactobacillus casei Shirota. This strain, discovered by Dr Minoru Shirota, has been proven to improve digestion and immunity. The Yakult Light Mango Flavour aims to promote gut health with a popular mango taste, contributing to the well-being of more people in India.

Priced at Rs. 100 for a pack of five bottles, Yakult Light Mango Flavour will be available in 28 states and 5 union territories, as well as through Yakult’s unique home delivery service and online platforms. Sanya Malhotra highlighted the product's relevance in combating lifestyle disorders, emphasizing its health benefits and tasty flavor.
