K2 Infragen, a noted player in infrastructure, has stepped into the renewable energy sector, announcing a new solar project in Gujarat on Tuesday. The 68 MW initiative is part of a larger 450 MW project spearheaded by Coal India Ltd in Khavda.
The company will undertake this project in engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) mode, enhancing its diversified infrastructure portfolio. This project, secured from KPI Green Energy Limited, highlights K2 Infragen's commitment to exploring the solar EPC domain actively.
Vice President of Business Strategy & Corporate Affairs reported that the installation is slated for completion in the first half of 2025-26. Concurrently, K2 Infragen is enhancing its collaborations with financial institutions to bolster banking limits as it seeks further expansion in transmission, distribution, and railways.
