Addressing a public gathering in Gorakhpur, Adityanath credited the BJP's governance for transforming the state from a development laggard to a leader across various sectors. He reflected on the dire circumstances prior to his 2017 election, marked by frequent riots and rampant lawlessness.

CM Yogi praised the transformative rule of his BJP government on its eighth-anniversary, attributing successes to Prime Minister Modi's guidance. He expressed gratitude to the 25 crore citizens of Uttar Pradesh for their continued support, emphasizing the efficient governance executed during his double-term leadership.
