Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath recently emphasized the transformative impact of CCTV cameras in Gorakhpur, calling it a significant enhancement to the city's surveillance capabilities and crime deterrence. Adityanath sternly warned that the increased surveillance would serve a severe deterrent to anyone attempting misconduct.

Speaking at a public event, the CM celebrated Gorakhpur's transition into a smart city equipped with these technologies, which also assists in maintaining urban cleanliness. He stated, 'If a criminal harasses women or traders, CCTV cameras will ensure justice is served swiftly.'

In addition to discussing local developments, Adityanath reflected on the successful Mahakumbh event in Prayagraj, which drew over 66 crore devotees in 45 days. He noted this demonstrates India's spiritual and cultural prowess, turning faith into a major economic and tourism success.
