On Thursday, the Mahakal Temple in Ujjain witnessed a grand aarti as part of Diwali festivities, capturing the essence of the Festival of Lights celebrated across India. Diwali symbolizes the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil, with various regions preparing elaborate celebrations.

The Vadapalani Murugan Temple in Chennai saw throngs of devotees, while the people of Panaji participated in the traditional burning of the demon Narakasura's effigy. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav extended Diwali greetings, emphasizing prosperity and happiness in his message on social media, reinforcing the festival's theme of abundance and joy.

In Uttar Pradesh, the Deepotsav in Ayodhya stood out, highlighted by a magnificent laser and light show at Saryu Ghat, showcasing a vibrant Ram Leela narration. Prime Minister Narendra Modi joined the nation in celebrating Diwali, wishing health and prosperity to all. Meanwhile, in Gujarat's Gandhinagar, the Swaminarayan Akshardham temple celebrated with the lighting of 10,000 diyas, marking a visually stunning tribute to the divine festival.
