NTPC Boosts Solar Capacity with New Rajasthan Plant

NTPC has taken a significant step forward in its solar energy expansion with the commissioning of a 32.90 MW solar plant in Rajasthan, a move announced on Tuesday.
The Shambu ki Burj -2 (Kolayat) Solar PV Project, situated in Bikaner, falls under the operational management of NTPC Green Energy Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of NTPC.
As of October 31, 2024, NTPC declared the third part capacity of 32.90 MW from the 300 MW Shambu ki Burj-2 Solar PV Project as commercially operational. This development pushes the group's overall installed and commercial capacity to an impressive 76,475.68 MW.
