Brake Failure Leads to Udhampur Bus Accident

A mini-bus accident in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir left at least four to five people injured after the vehicle skidded off the road and plunged into a ditch, according to police reports. The mishap happened near Shiv Mandir in the Farna area on Tuesday.
Senior Superintendent of Police, Amod Ashok Nagpure, confirmed that the injured are currently receiving treatment at the Associated Hospital Government Medical College. Nagpure also noted that a case has been registered regarding the accident.
Deputy Commissioner Saloni Rai revealed to ANI that the accident appears to have been caused by brake failure. Teams were dispatched promptly to the scene, and the incident is under further investigation. Rai mentioned that three to four individuals sustained major injuries and ensuring their proper medical care is a priority.
