Tragedy on the Tracks: Police Team Struck by Train During Rescue
A police team responding to a fatal accident on railway tracks was struck by a train, resulting in severe injuries for two officers. The incident occurred near Karaiya Bhadoli station when Assistant Sub-Inspector Rajendra Mishra and his driver were hit by an oncoming train while attending to casualties.

A police operation turned tragic as a sub-inspector lost an arm and a driver was injured due to an unexpected train collision. The team was attending to a fatal incident on the tracks near Karaiya Bhadoli station, approximately 260 km from Bhopal.
Under the supervision of Superintendent Shrut Kirti Somvanshi, the officers arrived to manage the aftermath of two individuals who fell from a train. However, while removing bodies, the team was caught off guard by an approaching train.
The injured officers, noted to have been possibly distracted, are receiving treatment in Jabalpur. Further investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances, including potential distractions from phone use during the accident.
