Jammu and Kashmir's Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has strongly denounced the recent terrorist attack on civilians in Gagangeer. In a resolute statement, he assured the public that the perpetrators of this deplorable act will face justice, emphasizing the freedom granted to the police and security forces to pursue and neutralize the attackers.

Officials reported that two laborers tragically lost their lives when terrorists struck in the Gagangir area of J-K's Ganderbal district Sunday evening. In response, security forces have cordoned off the area, launching a search operation to track and neutralize those responsible, while aiming to restore safety and security in Gagangir.

Condolences have poured in from various political leaders. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari expressed heartfelt sympathy to the victims' families, condemning the attack on workers engaged in crucial infrastructure projects. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah labeled the assault as a cowardly act against unarmed laborers, demanding justice and extending sympathy to those affected.

Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi also voiced her denunciation, terming the attack as a crime against humanity. The incident has sparked unanimous outrage nationwide, with leaders calling for unity in opposing the spread of violence and terror. The nation mourns with the victims' families and prays for the injured.
