New Zealand's Historic Test Triumph in India

New Zealand coach Gary Stead commended all-rounder Rachin Ravindra and pace bowler William O'Rourke for their pivotal roles in defeating India in a historic test match. The Black Caps secured an eight-wicket victory in their first test win on Indian soil in 36 years.

Ravindra, who hails from Bangalore, contributed significantly with scores of 134 and an unbeaten 39. Meanwhile, O'Rourke's impressive seven-wicket haul, featuring four in the initial innings, restricted India to a mere 46 runs, their lowest home total.

The pitch conditions improved as the game progressed, acknowledged Stead, which helped the team's batting performance. New Zealand now aims for a series win in the upcoming test in Pune.
