In a significant development in the murder case of Unani practitioner Dr Javed Akhtar, Delhi Police have apprehended a juvenile suspect. The suspect, linked to the shooting, was caught by the Southern Range Crime Branch. The police have confirmed ongoing efforts to arrest the second individual involved in the crime.

According to authorities, two boys aged 16 and 17 visited Dr Akhtar's clinic on the night of October 2. Under the pretext of wound dressing, they allegedly committed the crime, with CCTV footage later confirming their identity. A gunshot was heard after they entered the doctor's cabin, leading to Dr Akhtar's tragic death.

The investigation took a crucial turn when police discovered incriminating clues from one suspect's Instagram account. The juvenile posted a story wielding a pistol and claiming responsibility for the murder. Despite capturing one suspect, the motive behind the cold-blooded killing remains unclear as investigations continue.
