Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced on Thursday that centers will be opened across the state to purchase soybeans at the Minimum Support Price (MSP) of Rs 4892 per quintal. Yadav emphasized that this move is aimed at ensuring farmers receive fair compensation for their crops.

Yadav revealed he met with the Union Home Minister to discuss strategies to enhance the economic conditions of farmers through the National Dairy Development Board. He mentioned a significant project under the board to boost milk production, increase dairy cattle numbers, and ensure farmers get fair prices. He expressed optimism that this initiative would benefit the farmers greatly.

Addressing another major development, Yadav spoke about the upcoming Ujjain-Indore 6-lane road project worth Rs 5,500 crores. Invitations have been extended to the President for the project's inauguration. The Chief Minister conveyed gratitude to the Central Government for approving the state proposal to procure soybeans at MSP, acknowledging the continuous support from the central leadership towards farmers' welfare. Madhya Pradesh, he noted, produces about 60 percent of India's soybean.
