Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav expressed gratitude to the Centre for approving the state's proposal to procure soybean at the Minimum Support Price (MSP). Yadav emphasized the government's continuous efforts for farmers' welfare, citing the newly approved MSP rate of Rs 4,892 per quintal as a significant relief to worried farmers.

The Chief Minister extended special thanks to PM Narendra Modi, Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, and Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal for their swift approval. Earlier in the day, Chouhan assured that Madhya Pradesh farmers need not worry as the soybean procurement would occur at MSP, ensuring fair prices for their produce.

Chouhan reiterated that agriculture remains a prime focus for the government, comparing the service to farmers to a divine duty. Highlighting Madhya Pradesh's vital role in India's soybean production, the decision is expected to significantly impact the state's farming community.
