On Tuesday, TDP MLA Kolikapudi Srinivasa Rao visited the flood-stricken Ambapuram village in Vijayawada. He oversaw relief operations and spoke with the flood victims. Vijayawada has been grappling with severe waterlogging due to heavy rain, marking the tenth day of disruptions on Monday.

While flood waters have receded in several regions, some areas remain submerged. Affected residents have been relocated to relief camps. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu inspected the flood-affected zones on Monday.

The Chief Minister met with the victims, promising comprehensive aid to restore normalcy. "All damaged belongings and homes will be repaired with expert assistance. We will also provide financial help and vehicle repairs, ensuring you only return after complete recovery," said CM Naidu.

Naidu assured that the government would maintain citizen safety through food and water supplies. He blamed the previous administration for inadequate canal and irrigation maintenance, leading to the current flooding due to Budameru canal breaches.

A medical camp has been established to curb disease outbreaks. Health Minister Satya Kumar Yadav noted, "Each camp has two medical officers, and over the last week, more than 100,000 people have received medical care. We are conducting door-to-door surveys and vector surveillance to prevent vector-borne diseases."

On September 6, Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan visited the affected areas to assess the situation. "The damage to agricultural fields is extensive, with total losses in banana, haldi, paddy, and vegetable crops. Many affected farmers leased their farmland," he said post-inspection.

The Union Minister pledged full support from the central government to assist the state during this crisis.
