Manipur Students Urge Govt to Address Violence Impact on Education

On Monday, student representatives from various Manipur schools met Chief Minister Biren Singh, voicing concerns over the recent violence disrupting their studies. Singh assured that their voices would be heard, highlighting the government's commitment to addressing their issues.
Earlier in the day, students rallied towards the Raj Bhavan, demanding the resignation of the Director General of Police, Security Advisor, and Governor amid the ongoing crisis in the northeastern state.
Students also called for the withdrawal of paramilitary forces and stressed the need for the Chief Minister to have unified command over security forces to restore normalcy.
