Tel Aviv [Israel], September 2 (ANI/TPS): In a crucial diplomatic meeting, President Isaac Herzog conferred with the Netherlands' Foreign Minister, Caspar Veldkamp.
Prior to the meeting, President Herzog expressed gratitude for the Netherlands' support, stating, "I think the fact that you're here is an expression of friendship and support, because what we have seen in the last 24 hours is pure, barbaric evil, unprecedented evil." He referred to recent attacks and highlighted the killing of six civilians taken hostage to Gaza on October 7.
Herzog stressed the need for a global shift in dealing with Hamas, urging, "The whole attitude towards Hamas must change by the world community and by the interlocutors, by Arab nations, by intermediaries." He denounced Hamas for the brutal attacks on October 7, calling for decisive international actions against the group.
