On Saturday, the Rouse Avenue court delayed its ruling on whether to summon former Railways Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, Tejaswi Yadav, and other accused in the land-for-job money laundering case. Special Judge Vishal Gogne rescheduled the matter, with the summons order now anticipated on September 13.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) had previously filed a supplementary charge sheet on August 6, naming Lalu, Tejaswi, and nine others, including deceased accused Kishun Deo Rai, Lal Babu Rai, and Lallan Chaudhary. The charge sheet listed 96 relied-upon documents and included Rabri Devi, Misa Bharti, Hema Yadav, Amit Katyal, and Hridyanand Chaudhary.

Furthermore, the ED implicated two firms, AK Infosystem and AB Export, in the case. AK Infosystem, launched by Amit Katyal in 2006-07 for IT data analysis, allegedly bought several land parcels instead of conducting real business. AB Export, another implicated firm, is accused of dubious land transactions involving the Yadav family. ED's Special Public Prosecutor informed the court that the Yadavs benefitted from the proceeds of crime. The Delhi High Court previously rejected a plea to quash ED proceedings against Katyal.
