Rachakonda police on Friday successfully dismantled a fraudulent job racket, resulting in the arrest of three individuals: Shaik Bade Shaheb, Muthoju Laxmana Chary, and Madaka Rama Swamy. The police seized four lakh rupees, along with two laptops, a printer, mobile phones, and incriminating documents from the accused.

Past incidents have shown that these suspects have previously been detained for similar schemes, preying on job seekers by assuring them employment in various government and public sectors. The sectors targeted included FCI, SBI Bank, Court Outsourcing, AG Office, Post Office, Railway, Income Tax Inspector, GST Office, Revenue Dept., Electricity Dept., and software positions. The accused produced counterfeit appointment letters and identification cards to deceive victims, only to vanish after promising to return the defrauded money once questioned.

In another instance, the accused forged a fake agreement ostensibly authorizing them to collect applications on behalf of the government for new schemes like Gruha Jyothi and Gruha Laxmi. They swindled Rs 33 lakh from a victim named B.V. V. Shanker through a bogus promise of a contract job. Authorities have launched further investigations to capture the remaining suspects, Mohd Malik and Akash. Further details are awaited.
