On Friday, Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Kavinder Gupta announced that the BJP manifesto for Jammu and Kashmir will be termed 'Sankalp Patra', highlighting its significance for the nation. Gupta emphasized, 'We call it the Sankalp Patra instead of the manifesto as it serves the nation, state, and society. Historically, the BJP has always lived up to its commitments.'

Gupta further stated that their developmental work in Jammu and Kashmir will garner public support. 'People will support us seeing the development we have achieved here,' Gupta added.

In a parallel statement, Jammu and Kashmir BJP chief Ravindra Raina applauded the manifesto, calling it 'people's manifesto'. Raina assured that the party would address the issues of daily wagers, home guards, Anganwadi workers, Asha workers, youth, and government employees. He reiterated the party's mission of 'Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishiwas' and expressed confidence in a substantial victory in the upcoming assembly elections.

'Prime Minister Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah have earnestly focused on J-K. While releasing the manifesto, the Home Minister vowed to strengthen peace and prosperity in J-K. As stated by the HM, we anticipate a tremendous victory and the formation of a BJP government,' Raina concluded. Earlier on Friday, Union HM Amit Shah released the BJP's manifesto, asserting that Article 370 is a bygone issue and will not be reinstated.
