Mankhurd Police have arrested a 22-year-old man on charges of allegedly raping a 12-year-old boy. The incident was unveiled when the boy returned home upset and informed his family about the assault by a man named 'Ako.'
The victim stated that he met Ako on the street, who offered assistance for buying vegetables but took him to Mankhurd's Sonapur area instead, where the assault occurred. The family discovered the boy was bleeding and immediately reported the incident to the police. They tracked down the accused, identified as Sharad Sable, in a drunken state.
Police registered a case, arrested Sable, and are continuing the investigation. Further details are awaited.
