Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Sunday tuned in to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Mann Ki Baat' radio programme at his official residence. Following the broadcast, Majhi engaged with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers to delve into the issues discussed on the show.

'We all listened to the Prime Minister's 'Mann Ki Baat' programme. PM Modi stated that now is the prime time for the space sector and startups. He also stressed the need to protect nature and urged people to plant trees,' Majhi told reporters.

In the 113th episode of the monthly radio address, PM Modi lauded India's progress in the space sector, particularly the National Space Day on August 23. He noted the youth's benefits from space reforms and highlighted the success of Chandrayaan-3, which landed on the moon's southern hemisphere.

The Prime Minister also spoke with representatives of Galaxeye, a space-tech startup founded by IIT Madras alumni. Modi queried how their technology could aid the nation. Suyash, a member of the team, recounted their involvement in the 'Hyperloop' project and their recognition among the top 20 teams globally out of 1,500. 'During our engineering studies, we initiated the 'Hyperloop' project. We were the sole Asian team and finished among the top 20,' Suyash explained in response to Modi's question.
