Odisha Minister Suresh Pujari announced a bold initiative, stating that the state government aims to provide land for housing to every poor person in the state within the next five years. Pujari highlighted that the project's goal is to ensure no poor resident is left without land for a house.

In addition to providing residential land, the scheme will address land shortages faced by educational institutions. Pujari confirmed that these institutions would receive the necessary land by the end of the year, aiming to support Odisha's educational infrastructure.

The revenue department has been tasked with executing this initiative, ensuring efficient and timely distribution of land to beneficiaries. BJP MLA Agasti Behera emphasized the contrast with previous administrations, detailing the government's commitment to providing land, housing, water, and electricity to everyone within the next five years.
