An object fell from an Indian Air Force (IAF) fighter aircraft in Rajasthan's Jaisalmer district, near the Pokhran area, on Wednesday. The incident, which occurred in an isolated zone, resulted in no damage to life or property, according to officials.

The Indian Air Force stated on 'X' that the object was inadvertently released from the aircraft due to a technical malfunction. Although the exact nature of the 'air store' wasn't disclosed, an inquiry has been initiated to ascertain the cause of the malfunction.

Sub-Inspector Shankar Lal of the Ramdevra police station mentioned that villagers heard a loud bang about a kilometer away. Upon reaching the site, they discovered fragments of the object scattered around.
