Centre Appoints Permanent Judges to Allahabad and Andhra Pradesh High Courts

On Wednesday, the Centre Government appointed several Additional Judges as permanent Judges of the Allahabad and Andhra Pradesh High Courts. The President of India, after consultation with the Chief Justice of India, made these appointments, solidifying the positions of nine judges in Allahabad and two in Andhra Pradesh.

The Centre Government, through the Law and Justice Ministry, announced on Wednesday the appointment of several Additional Judges as permanent Judges of Allahabad High Court and Andhra Pradesh High Court. The Ministry's notification highlighted that these appointments were made by the President of India, following consultations with the Chief Justice of India.

According to the notification, nine Additional Judges of the Allahabad High Court have been confirmed as permanent. The judges who have been made permanent are Justice Syed Qamar Hasan Rizvi, Justice Manish Kumar Nigam, Justice Anish Kumar Gupta, Justice Nand Prabha Shukla, Justice Kshitij Shailendra, Justice Vinod Diwakar, Justice Prashant Kumar, Justice Manjive Shukla, and Justice Arun Kumar Singh Deshwal.

In the Andhra Pradesh High Court, Justice Venkata Jyothirmai Pratapa and Additional Judge Justice Venuthurumalli Gopala Krishna Rao have both been appointed as Permanent Judges, solidifying their positions within the judicial system. (ANI)
