RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das Ranked World's Top Central Banker Again

Das received an 'A+' rating in the Global Finance Central Banker Report Cards 2024 for his success in inflation control, economic growth, currency stability, and interest rate management.

The magazine's Central Banker Report Cards 2024, which ranks central bankers on a scale from A to F, has given Das an 'A+' rating. This rating highlights his outstanding performance in areas including inflation control, economic growth, currency stability, and interest rate management.

Das shares this top honor with Denmark's Christian Kettel Thomsen and Switzerland's Thomas Jordan. Global Finance noted that central bankers around the world have successfully tackled inflation through higher interest rates, and their efforts are now yielding positive results.
