The US Soybean Export Council (USSEC) and the Karnataka Poultry Farmers and Breeders Association (KPFBA) have entered into a memorandum of understanding aimed at boosting workforce training within India's burgeoning poultry industry.

Under this partnership, KPFBA members will gain access to USSEC's digital platform, its global community, and in-person training courses. In return, the KPFBA will help promote USSEC's educational programs and track the progress of its members.

USSEC CEO Jim Sutter stated that the MoU would pave the way for innovation and increased productivity in India's poultry sector. Meanwhile, KPFBA President Naveen Pasuparthy emphasized that the agreement would greatly benefit workforce training, upskilling, and capacity-building in the country's poultry and feed milling industries. The collaborative effort aims to leverage India's demographic advantage, with a significant portion of the population being of working age. To date, USSEC India has already trained over 600 professionals in areas such as feed milling, poultry, and soy foods, according to the released statement.
