Amid rising speculation that former Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren may quit the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) and join another faction, JMM leader Manoj Pandey has issued a stern warning. Speaking to ANI on Sunday, Pandey described such a move as 'self-sabotage' for Soren.

'Champai Soren is a cautious leader and remains a member of the party,' Pandey remarked. 'It wouldn't be appropriate for me to comment on any of his remarks. However, should he decide to leave the party for another, such as the BJP, it would be self-sabotage for him.'

Pandey further expressed disbelief at the notion that a mature politician like Soren would consider joining the BJP, which he termed 'a sinking ship.' He noted that while it is ultimately Soren's decision, such a move would have immediate negative impacts on him. Earlier, Soren had stated he felt 'insulted' during his tenure and hinted at keeping his options open until the upcoming Jharkhand Assembly polls.

Champai Soren took to social media platform X on Sunday to detail the humiliations he faced during his tenure, including canceled programs and constraints imposed by the party leadership. He cited these experiences as reasons for possibly seeking an 'alternative path' in his political journey.
