On Saturday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, in collaboration with Sankalp Foundation, honored 22 selected participants of civil and forest services and their parents at a felicitation ceremony held at IRDT Auditorium, Survey Chowk. Highlighting the ambitions under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, Dhami emphasized the vital role these young civil officers would play in shaping India's future institutions and policies.

The Chief Minister remarked that young officers are central to immortalizing the country's Amritkaal, becoming pivotal figures in transforming India's administrative framework. Dhami stated that these new administrative servants of the 21st century would spearhead advancements by altering existing systems, paving the way for a developed India.

Moreover, Dhami called upon the officers to uphold the country's cultural values and discharge their duties with honesty and integrity. He encouraged them to reform the traditional 10-to-5 work culture, embodying the Mission Karmayogi spirit. Dhami also acknowledged the pivotal role of Sankalp Parivar, noting the selection of 686 youths in civil services under its guidance.

Former Chief Secretary Shatrughan Singh also addressed the future officers, cautioning them against misconceptions. Referencing insights from Kautilya's economics, Einstein, and writer Lal Shukla, Singh reminded them that civil service is a noble pursuit and not a means to amass wealth. He urged them to broaden their knowledge and remain dedicated to their studies and responsibilities.
