Techno Electric & IndiGrid Join Forces for Greenfield Transmission Projects

Techno Electric & Engineering Company has partnered with IndiGrid to develop and invest in two greenfield transmission projects, Ishanagar Power Transmission Ltd and Dhule Power Transmission Ltd. The collaboration will involve a securities subscription cum shareholders agreement and will see Techno Electric invest and execute the projects.

Techno Electric & Engineering Company announced its partnership with IndiGrid on Friday to develop two new greenfield transmission projects, as per a filings with the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

Under this agreement, Techno Electric will co-develop and invest in Ishanagar Power Transmission Ltd (IPTL) and Dhule Power Transmission Ltd (DPTL), taking on the role of complete project execution on a Lump Sum Turnkey (LSTK) basis.

Chairperson Padam Prakash Gupta expressed that this collaboration marks a significant milestone, demonstrating their commitment to transforming India's energy infrastructure landscape. Techno Electric was founded in 1963 and is acclaimed for its excellence in engineering, procurement, and construction services in the power sector, while IndiGrid is India's pioneering Infrastructure Investment Trust (InvIT) in the power space.
