JCB Driver Arrested After Fatal Incident in Latur

A tragic incident unfolded in Maharashtra's Latur when a JCB driver allegedly struck and killed a man while he was buying vegetables at Kanheri Chowk, police reported. The incident took place on Wednesday.

In the aftermath, a crowd assaulted the driver, who was subsequently admitted to a hospital due to the injuries sustained from the beating, officials confirmed. 'The driver was taken to a hospital after sustaining injuries from the beating by the crowd,' officials stated.

The driver, identified as Vinayak Rasure, has been arrested. Police disclosed that a case has been registered under the relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
