Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman revealed in her Union Budget speech on Tuesday that the government will allocate Rs 11.11 lakh crore towards capital expenditure for FY25.

The initiative aims to sustain strong fiscal support for various infrastructure projects over the next five years, ensuring robust development.

The budget also includes investment-grade energy audits for small and micro industries across 60 clusters, along with plans to set up power projects, including a 2,400 MW plant in Bihar, costing Rs 21,400 crore.
