Union Home Minister Amit Shah chaired the BJP's core committee meeting in Ranchi on Saturday, with Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma, and other BJP leaders in attendance.

In a social media post, Shah revealed that the meeting focused on various topics, and he took the opportunity to criticize the Hemant Soren government for allegedly betraying the people of Jharkhand. Shah emphasized that BJP workers are committed to forming a government in the state to restore citizens' rights and elevate Jharkhand to be the leading state in the country.

Speaking at the Jharkhand BJP working committee meeting, Shah also targeted Rahul Gandhi for his behavior in Parliament, criticizing the opposition leader for showing arrogance despite Congress's electoral defeat. He accused the JMM-Congress alliance of corruption and undermining tribal interests, and urged BJP workers to inform voters of the Soren government's failures.

Shah highlighted the financial contributions made by the Modi government to Jharkhand, contrasting it with the previous Congress administration. He noted that while Congress allocated Rs 84 thousand crore for the state's development, PM Narendra Modi's government provided Rs 3 lakh 84 thousand crore, attributing significant regional progress and the elimination of Naxalism in Bihar and Jharkhand to BJP's efforts.
