The Telangana High Court has reserved its decision on a petition by KT Rama Rao, a key figure in the BRS, seeking to dismiss an FIR lodged by the Anti Corruption Bureau regarding the Formula-E race.

KTR, as he is known, will maintain interim protection from arrest until the verdict is delivered. This move follows a hearing in which Justice K Lakshman considered arguments from both the state government and the defence.

The ACB has accused KTR, along with two other officials, of making unauthorized payments, including foreign currency transactions, purportedly resulting in a Rs 55 crore loss to the government.
