The Department of Electronics, IT, and Biotechnology (BT) under the Government of Karnataka has opened applications for the Rajiv Gandhi Entrepreneurship Program. The initiative, aimed at young graduates, seeks to foster innovation and entrepreneurship, as per an official announcement.

This program marks a departure from conventional job-seeking towards promoting entrepreneurship. It offers promising career alternatives, boosts job creation, and supports technological innovation. The deadline for applications is August 13, 2024, by 5:00 pm.

The RGEP will provide financial support to 30 innovators with a monthly stipend of Rs 25,000 for 12 months to help them during the ideation phase. The initiative culminates in a Prototype, Minimum Viable Product (MVP), or Proof of Concept. Participants will collaborate with K-Tech partners for guidance and support.
