Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha offered his heartfelt condolences to the families of the soldiers who perished in the recent Doda encounter. Sinha urged citizens to unite against terrorism. Four Indian Army soldiers, including an officer, lost their lives during the encounter in Doda district.

Sinha condemned the attack, calling it cowardly, and paid tribute to the soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice. He vowed to avenge their deaths and dismantle the terror network. Emphasizing cooperation, he appealed to citizens to provide accurate information to enhance anti-terror operations.

Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge expressed his distress over the loss of lives, voicing strong condemnation against the terrorists. He criticized the Modi government's response, stating that Jammu's security strategy needs recalibration. Kharge urged collective action against cross-border terrorism. The Indian Army, in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir Police, continues its search operation in Doda following recent terror attacks in the region.
