In response to the video, Joshi, whose leg was amputated following an accident, expressed her disapproval, stating that such behavior sets a bad precedent and could encourage mockery of disabled individuals. She urged public figures to act more responsibly.

A police complaint has also been filed against the cricketers and Meta India's vice president, accusing Instagram of violating the Information Technology Act by allowing the content to be posted. The issue is under investigation by the authorities.
