A stampede-like situation during a walk-in interview in Gujarat's Bharuch district has led to political criticism from Congress leaders. Udit Raj suggested that the number of job seekers could have reached 8000, highlighting severe unemployment issues. Viral videos show candidates pushing to secure a spot, leading to the collapse of a ramp's railing.

Congress leaders, including Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge, took to social media to condemn the ruling BJP. Gandhi referred to unemployment as an epidemic, particularly in BJP-ruled states, while Kharge accused the BJP of following a 'cheating model' that has deprived youth of job opportunities for years.

The BJP dismissed these allegations, with Gujarat Home Minister Harsh Sanghavi stating that the interview was for experienced professionals, thus refuting claims that the candidates were unemployed. Sanghavi accused the viral video of trying to defame Gujarat.
