In the wake of the tragic death of nine children due to a wall collapse in Madhya Pradesh's Sagar district, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Sunday night made sweeping personnel changes, an official stated.

The district collector Deepak Arya was transferred to the state secretariat in Bhopal as deputy secretary. Sandeep GR, currently Chhattarpur collector, will replace Arya as the new collector of Sagar, according to the official.

Parth Jaiswal will take over the position of Chhattarpur collector from Sandeep GR. In addition, Sagar SP Abhishek Tiwari has been relocated to Bhopal as an Assistant Inspector General, and Vikas Kumar Sahwal will replace him as the new SP of Sagar.

The chief minister also ordered the suspension of Dr Hariom Bansal from the Shahpur primary health center due to negligence.
