On Wednesday, the Pakistan High Commission announced the approval of 84 visas for Indian pilgrims heading to the Shree Katas Raj temples, located in Pakistan's Punjab province, Chakwal district. This visit is scheduled from December 19 to 25.
The temples, also referred to as Qila Katas, are a network of Hindu temples linked by pathways. This pilgrimage is part of an annual bilateral protocol facilitating visits to religious shrines, allowing Sikh and Hindu pilgrims from India to travel to Pakistan, and vice versa.
Pakistan's Charge d'Affaires, Saad Ahmad Warraich, extended his best wishes for a spiritually enriching journey. The issuance of these visas underscores Pakistan's commitment to fostering interfaith collaboration and cultural exchange through religious pilgrimage.
