Union Home Minister Amit Shah paid his respects to the esteemed industrialist Ratan Tata in Mumbai on Thursday. Accompanied by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and other dignitaries, Shah attended the National Centre for Performing Arts to honor the legacy of Tata.
Ratan Tata, who passed away at the age of 86, was instrumental in transforming the Tata Group into a globally influential conglomerate. His demise was confirmed by sources at the Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai late Wednesday night.
Due to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's prior commitments at the ASEAN-India and East Asia summits, Shah represented the Government of India at Tata's memorial, marking a significant moment of national tribute.
