BEAUTY&YOU India 2024 Unveils Finalists, Fuels Local Innovation

The Estée Lauder Companies and NYKAA announce the finalists for BEAUTY&YOU India 2024, aimed at discovering and promoting India-focused beauty brands. In an effort to elevate Indian beauty innovation, The Estée Lauder Companies' New Incubation Ventures and NYKAA have announced the finalists for the 2024 installment of BEAUTY&YOU India. Aimed at showcasing future-forward beauty brands, this initiative has garnered significant interest, doubling its applicants since its inception in 2022. The 2024 program focuses on breakthrough innovations, nurturing startups in segments like market-ready products, pre-launch concepts, and creative narratives.

The competition attracted over 660 entries from 50 cities across the nation. Executives from NIV and NYKAA narrowed this down to 12 groundbreaking finalists spanning categories such as GROW, IMAGINE, and CREATE. These categories spotlight diverse ventures ranging from patented skin solutions to sustainable e-commerce platforms. Representatives from Estée Lauder noted a strong commitment to fostering local talent and boosting India's burgeoning beauty sector.

Finalists will present their innovative pitches before a jury of industry stalwarts, including renowned stylist Anaita Shroff Adajania and acclaimed designer Tarun Tahiliani. Winners receive access to a bespoke BEAUTY&YOU India Bootcamp, hosted by industry leaders such as NYKAA's CEO Falguni Nayar, offering mentorship, financial resources, and market integration. The initiative is celebrated for supporting homegrown talent in India's rapidly-expanding beauty landscape.
