Delhi Zoo is bracing for a surge in visitors on New Year's Day, improving security measures and adding entry gates, according to officials. With family and friends celebrating the New Year at the zoo, enhanced security and extra personnel will facilitate smooth operations.
Sanjeev Kumar, the National Zoological Park Director, revealed that two additional entry gates will be operational to assist the anticipated crowd, along with increased CCTV monitoring and deployment of personnel in vulnerable zones to combat thefts.
The police will assist in managing traffic on Mathura Road for seamless zoo access. In anticipation of 25,000 visitors, online ticket booking is available for added convenience.
