The Kiran Nadar Museum of Art (KNMA) in New Delhi is set to host its inaugural theatre festival, scheduled from October 14 to October 20, at Sunder Nursery. With a focus on 'The Power of Vulnerability', the festival will showcase 13 plays that delve into pressing societal issues such as class, gender, and religion.

Curated by Bengaluru-based Kirtana Kumar, the festival aims to highlight contemporary theatre's role in addressing social vulnerabilities. The event launches with 'Beesu Kamsale', a traditional Kannada folk performance, and continues with a range of innovative works, including 'The Nights', which reimagines the classic 'Arabian Nights' stories.

Besides performances, the festival will host workshops and discussions featuring eminent theatre practitioners. KNMA chairperson Kiran Nadar emphasized the festival's objective to enrich Delhi's cultural scene by deepening the connection between the arts and the community.
