During a recent visit to India, Maldives President Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Sajidha Mohamed explored the iconic Taj Mahal, expressing awe at its architectural grandeur. Muizzu remarked that the mausoleum's captivating beauty defies verbal description, a sentiment he recorded in the guest book.
Uttar Pradesh minister Yogendra Upadhyay welcomed the presidential entourage on behalf of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The visit, part of Muizzu's four-day bilateral stay in India, included a ceremonial presentation of a Taj Mahal replica to the president and first lady.
Muizzu's itinerary also featured a visit to Shilpgram, where performers from the Braj region entertained the delegation before their departure. The Taj Mahal was temporarily closed to the public for the president's visit.
